At Claus Porto, we believe in the beauty of a package and the story it tells. We were born in 1887 and have been working on mastering the art of gift making since then. We have been hand-wrapping our soaps for 134 years and working to ensure that our products are recognized not only for their quality, but also for their beauty and art. Every trace, every image, every detail, nothing is left to chance and never was. Therefore, our archives are constant sources of inspiration and we find, in the history of our house, true design treasures. This inspired us to pay tribute to our tradition of creating fragrant gifts and, from there, to design an engaging pattern that evokes rich wrapping paper and silk ribbon, for a final effect in which we can get a glimpse of an artistic movement that has always inspired us: Art Deco.
